Plastic recyling borough council.

For years I have been concerned about the amount of plastic I throw in my bin, whether food wrapping or other household goods.

The governments 5p bag tax, does absolutely nothing to resolve this issue.  Instead of using carrier bags I got from the supermarket, I now use larger black bags, that are far less biodegradable.

If the government really want to do something about the amount of plastic going into land fills, they should force the metropolitan councils to extract the plastics from our black bins and either recycle or burn to use as energy.  Carrier bags are a fraction of that issue.

I really feel concerned with the intelligence of people in powers of position in our society, rather than resolving an issue they make it worse and make our life’s more complicated for no reason.  Any excuse to slap another tax on us.

All the best
